Jim, aged 90, an ex-Rolls-Royce aero engineer, had a surprise visit to The Hunt House arranged by his family who live in Paulerspury. Jim became an apprentice at Rolls-Royce, Trowell near Nottingham, in 1943 at the age of 15.Jim and his relations were picked up in Philip H’s 1952 Silver Dawn, as an extra treat.
Philip gave the family a tour of the Archive and the family were given afternoon tea as part of the surprise.
