Jim, aged 90, an ex-Rolls-Royce aero engineer, had a surprise visit to The Hunt House arranged by his family who live in Paulerspury. Jim became an apprentice at Rolls-Royce, Trowell near Nottingham, in 1943 at the age of 15. Jim and his relations were picked up in Philip H’s 1952 Silver Dawn, as an extra treat. Philip gave the family a tour of the Archive and the family were given afternoon tea as part of the surprise.
